1. Vijai Sharma was appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission. He will have tenure of 5 years or till he attain the age of 65, whichever is earlier.

2. IRS officer KV Chowdary was appointed as the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC).

3. Senior IPS Officer RC Tayal was appointed as the Director General of National Security Guard.

4. Syed Asif Ibrahim was appointed as the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy on Countering Terrorism and Extremism.

1. AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for fifth time. She is the 18th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and succeeded O Panneerselvam who resigned on 21 May 2015 following her acquittal on 11 May 2015 in the disproportionate assets case by the Karnataka High Court. The court overruled the Bangalore’s special court judgment which found Jayalalithaa guilty.

2. David Cameron’s Conservative Party on 8 May 2015 won the UK General election 2015 by securing 331 seats in a Parliament of 650. With this win, the incumbent Prime Minister David Cameroon will continue to be in the office.

3. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet gave its nod for appointing G Mohan Kumar as the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.

4. Akhil Amar, an Indian-American professor from Yale University, was appointed as a member of the prestigious National Council on Humanities of United States.

SSC CGL 2015 Exam Notification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notification of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL Exam) 2015  on 02 May January 2015 and Closing Date of application is 28 May 2015 for Part 1 Registration and upto 01 June for part 2 registration. Online as well as offline application options are available to fill the SSC CGL Exam 2015 form to fill Group-“B & C” posts of Assistant in CSS/ CVC / IB / MoR / MoEA / AFHQ / Other Ministries / Departments / Organisations, Inspector (Income Tax / Central Excise / Preventive Officer / Examiner / Posts) in CBDT / CBEC / DoP / CBN, Assistant Enforcement Officer in DoEDR, Sub-Inspector in CBI / NIA.

Qualifications as on 1st August 2015 :
i) Compiler : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
iii) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

AGE LIMIT: 18-27 years as on 01.01.2015. Age relaxation as per govt rule.

Closing Date: Last date for Registration Part 1 is 28.05.2015 and for Part 2 is 01.06.2015.

Note: The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination such as conduct of Tier-I and Tier-II examination in on-line mode, treating Tier-I examination as only qualifying and not conducting personality test cum interview for some or all posts etc.

Hello friends we are here with the analysis of SSC CGL 2014 TIER 2 Exam held all over India on 12th April 2015. The exam was conducted successfully all over India and till now no major issue of errors like paper leak etc. have been reported till now. Only onecase of cheating was reported from Raipur. Thanks to the alertness displayed by SSC while conducting the exam. The level of SSC CGL 2014 Tier 2 was balanced and was slightly on an easier side when compared to the paper of SSC CGL 2013 TIER 2. Difficulty of all sets are almost same but all are claiming that others paper was easier.
Quantitative Aptitude Paper Analysis
This paper was a balance mix of easy, moderately difficult and difficult questions. Most of the questions were easy and moderately difficult. Around 15 questions of this paper were difficult. The questions of Percentages, Simple Interest, Time Speed and Distance were easy.
